Your mission

  • Procurement Strategy & Market Intelligence: Develop and execute regional procurement strategies aligned with business objectives; monitor market trends, technology developments, and supplier landscapes to anticipate risks and opportunities.
  • Supplier Identification & Relationship Management: Identify , evaluate, and onboard new suppliers in line with Category Management guidelines; manage and develop relationships with existing suppliers, monitoring performance and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Supplier Risk & Performance Management: Coordinate risk analyses for new and existing suppliers with the Supplier Risk team; periodically evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service levels.
  • Sourcing & Negotiation: Collaborate with business teams to understand procurement needs, lead end -to-end sourcing processes, and negotiate supplier agreements covering pricing, lead times, payment terms, guarantees, and other conditions.
  • Contract & Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain procurement documentation (purchase orders, contracts, etc.) in coordination with the legal department as required.
  • Savings & Process Optimization: Identify and realize cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement operations and business efficiency.
  • Governance, Reporting & Compliance: Report to Indra headquarters in accordance with corporate governance requirements and support internal and external audit activities as needed. 

Your profile

  • University degree in a relevant field; minimum 5 years of experience as a buyer, ideally including technical materials/services, IT software, and hardware procurement. Experience working in a project-based environment is a plus.
  • Academic or professional background in a technical discipline, such as IT or electronics, enabling effective engagement with technical stakeholders and subject matter.
  • Proven negotiation skills with both suppliers and internal clients, including experience in contract closure and the ability to engage legal support when needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, suppliers, and third parties, with a clear service orientation towards internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex, multi -party situations; resourceful and creative in developing effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to work independently, proactively, and with a results-oriented, continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficiency in SAP and SAP Ariba
  • Native or business-fluent German and business-fluent English; Spanish and Polish are a plus
